
From inside and outside, you see views like this one, where the Guemes Channel meets the Bellingham Channel. The tiny dot in the middle is Cypress Head, tied by an ithsmus to beautiful Cypress Island. In the background, more islands such as Sinclair and Lummi. The Yellow Bluffs of Guemes Island are visible on the right. Tons of boat traffic goes through here on it's way to and from Anacortes & the San Juan Islands.

The trailhead is just at the end of West 8th, and a two-minute hike to Little Cranberry Lake and swimming or hiking! More than 50 miles of trails are connected through the Anacortes Community Forestlands and other trails Bikes, horses, humans!

You're only about eight blocks from the water and there are numerous parks for launching boats and marinas, too!
